Date on Email Results

Tessa Ford

Does anyone know why the date that comes through on the
email results is a day and one hour ahead of when the form
was submitted?

(I wanted the email recipient to be able to see the date
and time of when the visitor submitted their info)

Thanks

How is the date getting into the email, did you configure the form to add
the date?

Tessa,

Since you set the date via the Form properties, you should have a field in
your email containing that date. That date is based on the server's clock
that is hosting your site.

You will also see a date and time associated with email itself, this is
added by the mail server where you retrieve your email, ISP, etc. If you
view the properties of the email, you will see the time it was actual sent
by the mail server at your web host, as well.
