Date Field in PowerPoint 2003

I have the date field in the header of my PowerPoint presentation as
dd-MM-YYYY. The month shows up like Aug. I would like it to show up like
AUG, in all caps. I found how to do this in PowerPoint 2007, but I only have
2003. Is there a way to make this change in 2003?

Phil,
In the master of your presentation, select the text in the date placeholder,
Insert - date/time - select the formatting you want - click OK, now select
the placeholder - Format - Change case - select all caps - OK.

That does not work. It does not change the date format capitalization in the
placeholder. Do you have any other suggestions?

Phil,
Strange, it does work here, be it using the Dutch or the English language.
Be sure to insert the date directly into the box not by going to the header
and footer dialogue.

It only works like this when the date doesn't update. If you check the box
to update the date, then it does not put it in uppercase.
