Date display "seconds"?

How can I enable a "seconds" display in the task bar. For example the
current display shows "11:27 AM".
I would like to see "11:27:XX AM" where "XX" is seconds incrementing!

There's a freeware utility called TClockEX. It can do what you want
and much more.
