Date diffrence from + to -

Hello Gurus and Newsgroup users.

Your kind assistance please.

I have been working with datedif for a couple of days, trying to find a way of showing a negative figure when the date difference is in the past.
I was then hoping to use the conditional formatting so to change the font to red.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you need Datedif, could you not just subtract one date from the other?

Just to add to Bob's reply:

And don't forget to format that cell as General (or any number format).

Excel wants to keep that difference cell as a date (and that looks might ugly).
