Database splitter destroys all table relationships. Why?

My tables relationships are totally gone when I split the database. Backend
and front end have a blank relationships window (i know they really belong on
the back end)! What is going on?

While in the backend, open Relationships window, and click the button on the
toolbar that will show all relationships.

Been there. Done that and it still doesnt work. Weird right? Now when I go
to recreate them I cannot enforce referencial integrity. This was a
perfectly fine and working database before the split!

I have never had a similar problem, so can't be much help. I have used the
splitter, but _generally_, I just make a copy of the DB... then from one
copy I delete everything but the tables and relationships to make a "back
end", and from the other delete the tables and relationships and link to the
tables in the back end to make a "front end".

As Larry notes, I also have never seen this behavior when using the splitter
wizard. Do you have a backup copy of the database prior to splitting it?
Hoping so, try to split a copy of that database and see if it works
correctly.

Post back and let us know.

You are trying to view the relationships from/by opening the back
end..right?

what the front end displays (even nothing) does not matter. It is what the
back end displays...

So, it is assumed you are opening the back end directly to view, or change
the relationships.....

Yes I have been viewing from the back end. I will try an old version to see
if it does it again. Thanks all!

Once you have figured out the problem you may discover that your nice
layout of the relationships window has been lost. If so use the
sysrels utility at the following location to copy the table
relationships layout window

Or use Save Restore Modify Relationship Window at
