Database shuts down

When I try to make a change to anything and I go to save the changes, Access
shuts down. I tried to repair and it still does this. I am working with
access 2002. Help, I do not want to rebuild this.

Create a new, blank database and import all objects from the old one.
With a bit of luck, you will get a "clean" working copy.
