Database passwords

I am going crazy!!! I created a user level security for my database
yesterday and now ALL my databases want an password. Even when I try to
create a new database from scratch, it asks for a user name and password. I
need to fix this asap.... HOW? it is driving me crazy.

Thanks for your help

Tara,
The reason Access is prompting you for a username and password is that, when
you ran the security wizard (which I'm assuming you did), your computer was
joined to the workgroup information file that was used to secure the
database. The wizard should have also created a desktop shortcut for the
database that points to that workgroup file. If that is the case, then you
need to do 2 things.

1. Use the Workgroup administrator to join the default system.mdw file that
ships with Access.
2. Use the shortcut that the wizard created for opening your secure
database.
