Database Expiry

Is it possible to set a database to expire after a certain period of time?
That is if I distribute an access application I want them to be able to use
it for say 12 months but after that they have to come back to me to get an
update.

Have a look at the sample database here
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/forum/topic79.html

This sample db is meant to secure Licensee particulars (Or date of expiry
for
free trial) in a tamper-proof manner. Often, such information is stored
using registry
settings and/or hidden tables. With sufficient skill and motivation,
contents of
registry or hidden/system tables can be tampered with.

Thanks Jeanette, that is exactly the sort of thing I was looking for, works
very well and seems to work with Access 2007 OK as well, much appreciated.
