I am using Excel 2007. I have created some simple drop list boxes that
reference named lists on a secondary worksheet. Now, however, I have come up
against a more complex requirement, and I am not sure how to proceed.
In column A, I have a drop list. When I make a selection from Column A, I
would like to have column B present a named list from the secondary worksheet
specific to the selection in column A.
For example, the drop list in Column A might refer to a named data list
called =ValidAutoMakes. This list may contain "Chevrolet", "Dodge", "Ford".
If I select "Ford" in column A, then I would like the drop list in column B
to use the named list on the supplemental worksheet called =ValidFords. But
if I were to select "Chevrolet" in column A, then I would like column B to
present the named data list =ValidChevrolets.
Is this possible? How do I go about this?
Thanks,
