Data Validation Dropdown

we are using Excel 2002 with one sheet has some data validation dropdow
allowing a list of value like "A,B,C,D". it had been OK then all o
sudden all dropdown lists disappeared even though the data valiadatio
object are still there.

there is doc'ed problem in MSDN for excel 97 with freeze pane but i
doesn't apply to our situation.

I remove all pane and pagebreaks, still dropdown list doesn't show.

any help appreciated

If the drop down box is still there it may be that the list has been
deleted.

Click in the cell which has the validation, then Data Validation
Check that the Validation Criteria still has Allow: List and then make
sure the source area is still valid and that the list data is still
there
