data that is returned on report is inaccurate

I am trying to build a report in Access 2007 but it reports inaccurate data.
When I look at the data in the table it is correct but in the report it shows
6 records instead of the two records that in the table.

I don't know what to look for to fix this. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Look at the Query upon which the report is based (view the report's
Properties, select the Recordsource property on the Data tab and click the ...
icon). My guess is that you have an incorrect join. Post the SQL view of the
query and a few rows of sample data if you need help correcting the error in
the query.
