Hi
On my H: drive, I stupidly 'cut' then 'pasted' some files from one directory
to another on my hard drive - unfortunately, the paste didn't work and I've
subsequently 'lost' several gigabytes of data! I've downloaded a few 'trial'
versions of file-recover software and I can see the files are there and are
recoverable - however, they want me to fork out $50 to get the software
working!!
Also, the snag is, the files take up over 30GB of memory and I don't have
space elsewhere to "recover" them to even if I did use some of the software
I've looked at. I haven't touched the H: drive at all - nothing has been
over-written so is there an easy cheap way to simply "flick a switch" and
put the files back into a viewable state?
Can anyone help?
Cheers
