data missing

Can you advice my how to recover data from a tape. I made a backup with
winnt server now I have apdated my system to windows 2000 server.

hi,
usually there is controling software that comes with the
tape drive.
you would have to recover the data from there. softwares
vary but usually it restores the file to the last known
location in the state it was in at the time of the backup.
I think it will give you some options.
