Data File

I am using 2007 and Vista Home 32 bit and very frequently when I open
Outlook there is a balloon in the bottom right which says 'Last time
there was a data file which did not close properly' or words to that
effect and that MS is checking.

Just live with it ? Or is there something I can do ?

Thanks

Outlook is not closing properly. Do you have a mobile phone or PDA that
synchs with outlook?

I do have a palm that was synched with previous computer, XP and 2003,
can it be that even though I have never loaded it on this computer or
plugged it in ?

If you never loaded the sync software and never connect the PDA, then, no, it
can't be the cause. See this for other causes:

Thanks. From the link that leaves (I think) the fact that I have 2
different email addresses with my ISP. So I assume that it is
checking the second one when it opens.

I will check with the Tools though.

Thank you.
