data file not closed properly ALL THE TIME!

My outlook data file is not closing properly almost every time i exit
outlook. It doesn't matter if I hit the X close buttun, or exit from
the file menu. Everytime i start it up again, it has to check for
errors which takes up to 10 min!

any ideas?

Where is your PST file located?
What version of Outlook? What SP on same?
