Is there a way to enter information into a box on the Form that updates every
time information is entered, and is blank the next time the form is brought
up?

austin,

Can you be a little more specific? What kind of information would be
entered and what update would be needed and from where would the update be
comming.

Open the form and having the control be blank is no issue, and being able to
enter informaion into a text box or other control is no problem either, but I
just do not understand what you are wanting for the updateing part of your
question.

I have a form that displays the last time we spoke with a client.

However, I'm looking to have an empty box for both a date and comment field
that will go into my call log table and be empty every time I go into a form
for a new entry.

austin,

You may want to have a form that you have your user to open by clickinig on
a button to open the form and use the following line:

DoCmd.OpenForm "YourFormName", , , , acFormAdd

This will have the form to open for a new record entry. You can have a
default for the date and then just add any comments.

Either set the Form's Data Entry property to Yes; or put code in its Load
event

Private Sub Form_Load()
DoCmd.GoToRecord acDataForm, Me.Name, acNewRecord
End Sub
