data access page on the web

I ftped a data access page to a website. I can only view it from my own
machine, the computer where the mdb file is, not by another computer on the
network, even if I have typed the http path in IE security. My question is:
do I need to change the path in the connectionstring in order that people on
the net can view it? If so how I type the address. For example, if I store
the page on http://www.microsoft.com/wn3/mydb.mdb, do I need to type in the
page property like this?
Data Source=http://www.microsoft.com/wn3/mydb.mdb. or else? Thanks in
advance if any experts can shed some light.

You can't open a MDB file over the TCP/IP protocol with the JET OLEDB 4
driver. You must use a transport layer such as RDS (now deprecated by
Microsoft for security reasons) or replace the MDB file with SQL-Server as
the backend.
