Dark Blue or Light Blue?

So it's the Oxford & Cambridge University Boat Race today on the Thames.
Sadly no sinking this year as conditions are meant to be good?

I've always, since childhood, supported Cambridge. I have no idea why.

I have no contacts or associations with either city nor do I favour light blue over dark blue.

It's just one of those inexplicable things.
