Just installed Service pack 2 for XP and roxio easy media
creator 7. Now, whenever I open the roxio product, I get
a windows installer opening trying to install "DAO.msi".
How can I stop this?

Run the Windows Installer Clean up Utility. See if there is a reference
to this installer in the list and remove it:

You'd erase DAO from the list after installing and running. I have the
DAO setup utility, so I then took it out of my "Add/Remove Programs" as
well, re-installed it, and another program I have (not Roxio) that was
previously complaining about it worked fine afterwards. Came with my
ATI video card as something that was needed to be installed. Can
download it from them here:

Good luck to you and anyone with DAO issues.
