DAO Controls on Continuous Form

I am creating a continuous form that includes a combo box and a text box.
The user will have a long series of pairs of controls. Some of the
selections in the combo require an entry in the text box, some do not. How
can I keep the these pairs of controls coordinated to be able to enable and
disable the paired text box, depending on the user's selection in a combo?
