I just discovered the correct forum for my problem, sorry a bit new to this place. Okay so I'm a girl yes, i'm your average 'puter gamer geek. So here is my baffling problem. When I choose to 'restart' my computer it goes through the normal noises and shutdown screens then it just stops before it actually restarts anything. I have to manually turn it off and then back on.
My computer has also started random restarting for no apparent reason as well. I have windows XP home edition a Pentium 4 3.2 and a Geforce 6800 with 256 ram. The most taxing things I do are play World of Warcraft and surf the net. I've been monitoring my case temps and they don't get much above 30-35C. Any suggestions?
