D Drive not seen after SP2 or error check

DrB

D drive is not seen at all anymore. Either disappeared when SP2 installed or
when I ran disk error check program. Device manager
shows no problem with disk drives which shows both drives.

Using system information program it does not show the D drive in the
storage/drives but shows two drives in the /IDE directory.

Recall having similar problem last year and though there was a program that
refreshed the drive lineup, but can not find it now. HELP
 
What does Disk Management say about the drive?
(Right dick on My Computer and select Manage, then click on Disk
Management.
 
It does not show up there. In system info under storage/disks it shows the
secondary drive info except for showing the partitions as 0.
