D: drive folder open automatic

How do I stop the D:drive folder from auto opening on my
desktop on start up. Thank you

There is a shortcut to that folder somewhere in the start up list.

Go to Start/Run and type msconfig and click OK. Click the Start Up tab
and look for a line that references that folder. Remove the check mark from
that line.

The other way it may be appearing is due to having the "Restore previous
folder windows at logon" option enabled in Control Panel/Folder Options/View
menu.
