Thank You ALIAS! Your advice DID worked!
YES, I found the key to Turn Off System Restore ;o) and it Auto Reset by itself --right?
(in other word; I left the Box uncheck after I went in again & chose Cancel on my way out).

Awesome trick; simple matter took me almost a year to fixed it -- easy to do, don't think
I would have figure this out without your help ;o)

Thanks for responding - Alias.
Can you PLEASE show me how to clear my System Restore? I'll report if we
finally nailed it ;o)

Actually; the mild pest NEVER did any wrong except it bother me whenever I'm
using Run Command & I've to call-in CWShedder all the time to disabled it since
last year. Can I've this coming 2008 a clean PC?

Everybody knows to Format right-away is an over-killed -- not needing a MVP
to tell me that ;o) Cheers Robear ;o)

Right click on My Computer/Properties/System Restore tab/tick "Turn off
system restore for all drives"/click Apply/OK. Reboot. Run the anti
whatever applications again. Reboot. Run them again. If it's gone,
reenable System Restore.

Your headers (Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2600.0000) tell us that you
still do not have SP2 installed: You are NOT "fully protected"!
Agreed.

Having read some more of this thread, I agree with PA Bear. Back up your
data, bite the bullet and reinstall XP followed by SP2 and all the
updates or you will be experiencing malware hell again and again. Read
the links on how to do it that PA Bear gave you. Either that or get
Ubuntu at www.ubuntu.com/

Heh.

If it's gone, re-enable System Restore.
YES, your Awesome trick did it! No More CWS MSCnfig.exe pest!
I think it is not require to enable System Restore (as I found out) when I went back
to do that because the Box is uncheck and they programmed it to Auto Reset. Nice
work Microsoft ;o)

Many Thanks Again -- ALIAS,

Thanks for your concerns ALIAS but it is not practical and too much an
hassles at the this time when I'm happy with my PC. Please understand me
and it is NOT that I chose this way. No human behavior involved here and
I hope Pa Bear will always considered this one time -- just for me.

All my statement still stand and I'll promise to guard my PC as I've never
before.

Sincerely,
-Rino
