Cutting and pasting multiple lines in Excel

Apologies if this is in the wrong area.

I've downloaded some .csv files which contain speed camera details for my
Garmin Zumo. There are separate files for Average, Mobile and Gatso cameras,
among others. The Gatso file (for example) lists all know Gatsos, and
identifies them with the speed in the last cell on each line (i.e 30 - 40 -
50) but the lines are not all in groups of each speed, there may be three
30s, then two 40s, then six more 30s etc. I want to be able to select all of
the lines for one speed and save them into another new file, thus ending up
with a 30 file, a 40 file, a 50 file... etc.

Excel (2003 XP) baulks at letting me select mulitple lines for a cut or copy
operation, and cutting and pasting each line individually is out of the
question as there are over 5000 in each of the four original files.
Can it be done?

I'm afraid you are. An Excel newsgroup would be the right
place to post your question.

Fair comment. I couldn't see one in the list of available news groups on the
XP page. Any ideas?

You should use
microsoft.public.excel
or
microsoft.public.excel.misc

Which "XP page" are you talking about? Excel will run under different
versions of Windows, so "XP" is irrelevant to your needs.

There are 31 "excel" related newsgroups on the microsoft news server.

Look under Microsoft.public.excel.XXXXXX
