How do I cut and paste a word document to an e-mail. I
can right click on the document name and click on cut or
copy then right click on the body of the e-mail but paste
is not lighted. It won't let me paste. If I drag to or
creat an attachment the receiver either cannot open or if
they can open they get symbols.
I have word 97.

Thanks.

Hi Charles,

If you want to attach the file to the email message, either click on the
Attach button in the email program or from the Insert menu in that program,
select File Attachment or, with the document open in Word, from File menu,
select Send to and then select the item "Mail Recipient (As Attachment)".
If you want the text of the Word document to appear in the body of the email
message, with the document open in Word, select Send to from the File menu
and then select "Mail Recipient", or select and copy the text from Word to
the clipboard and then in the email editor, select Paste or use Ctrl+v.

Please respond to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be
interested.

Hope this helps
