Cut and Paste in Excel

When you open a new instance of Excel, and try to cut an paste from the
instance you had open first, you get a different cut and paste pop-up window,
than if you had open a new worksheet within the same instance of Excel. If
you open a new instance, you cannot paste formats, formulas, etc.. In the
new instance, only values are pasted. All the formulas and formats are lost.
The ability to paste formula, format, colum widths, etc. should be allowed
in the new instance.

Any assistance you can provide in correcting this matter is greatly
appreciated.

You cannot change how Excel works in this regard. Sorry but I guess you're
going to have to open workbooks in the same Excel instance to do certain
kinds of copy/pastes.
