customizing views in Outlook 2000

Hi,

I want to be able to customize views by sorting the messages in my inbox
by date. But the problem I have is in the received field it includes both
date
and time. Is there a way to seperate this so that it sorts only by date.

That's the way your version sorts that field. If you want to have the
Arrange by Date function, you'll need 2003 or 2007.

If you just want the field to hide the time, right click the column header
and select Format fields/columns (not sure) and select a date format.
