Customizing Folder views in XP?

hi....

how do I change the default view of a folder to make it
the DETAILS one?

can't find the way to get that view to modify???

Display a folder with details view. Then go to tools|folder options|view
tab|apply to all folders.
 
In explorer, set your view, then: tools, folder options, view tab, apply to
all folders.
