Customizing Field View in BCM Contact List

I am attempting to customize the field columns while viewing my contacts as a
list. The default columns on mine are Payment Status, Account Name, Business
Address, etc. I have been trying to customize them to no avail. I have
tried right clicking on one of the columns, going to Customize view, and then
changing the fields. I have tried right clicking and going to field chooser.
Neither of these have worked. They changed them initially but as soon as I
go to my calendar or tasks and then go back to my contacts they revert back
to the default. I am extremely frustrated. Any help would be great.

Hi Evan,

I know how frustrating this can be, and although I have it sorted now it
kinda happend "by accident", but here is what I did:

1. Select "view", then "current view" and then "phone list".

2. Select "view", then "current view" and "customize/adjust", "group by" and
group by none. (I dont have the english version installed, dont remember
exact phraze)

3. From Field Chooser, choose the columns you want, then left click on the
one you want to sort by.

As I said, this worked for my, but Im sure others out there can give a more
thorough explanation on how to retain custom views. I also know that you can
distribute diffenent views through active directory and scripting, so there
IS some setting somewhere that controls this, I just dont have the knowledge
about it.
