Customized Meeting Request Form

Hello ,

I have created a new customized Meeting request form which access the
Global Address book and displays the data on the form on a new page (P.2) .
It also will access the Microscoft Access Database to fetch more
information and display on the form page P.2 .
I have published this form on a Public folder and also set this form to
be the "Default form" for my mailbox calendar. ( i.e., changed the settings
of "When posting to this folder, Use" property of the calendar folder to
this new customized form).
When i do this setting on my calendar, the code works and fetches the
data from both the Global address book and the database.

My Query is : When i add another persons mailbox and set this new
customized form as the "Default form" ( i.e., changed the settings of "When
posting to this folder, Use" property of the calendar folder to this
new customized form), the Form does not work.. i.e., the vb code written for
the form doesnot get executed.

Do i have to set any other properties so that this code of the form
works on other mailboxes aswell ?

Thanking you

Regards,
Vidya

It's not clear what name you're looking for or how that relates to your earlier issue. Application.Session.CurrentUser returns an AddressEntry for the current user.

Actually that new customized meeting request form is set as the default form
for a few Meeting Room Mailboxes.
Based on the selected meeting room, information has to be populated in the
new customized meeting request form(ie., when the form is loaded).
So how do i get the information about the Mailbox name so that this
information can be populated.

Actually we have a set of meeting rooms for which the New Customized Meeting
Request form are set as the default form.

For eg: DiscussionRoom101 is a Mailbox name of a meeting room .
DiscussionRoom102 is a Mailbox name of a meeting room .
DiscussionRoom103 is a Mailbox name of a meeting room . etc

When we go to the "Shared Calendar" of these meeting rooms, and book the
meetings with this New Customized Meeting Request Form, based on the
selected Meeting Room (ie., the shared calendar of the above specified
Meeting Rooms), certain associated information of these Meeting Rooms that
are present in the database are populated in the new page of New Customized
Meeting Request form (i.e., in the page P.2).

So how do I read this Meeting Room name / or the Mailbox name ?

Could you explain what you mean by that, please?
Based on the selected meeting room

Selected where? On the Scheduling tab of the form?

If you don't want to use the email address of the room, then further
customize the form for each room by typing in its name into a textbox,
going into design mode, and republishing it.

Thank You for the suggestion.
Could you please help - how to read the email address of the Rooms ?

The email address of a room is the exchange email address for the
public folder that is used to schedule the room. Look at its email
address in properties.

How can we "Programatically read the e-mail address" in a customised meeting
request form when booked from a shared calendar of the meeting room ?

If you really want to go that route, then you had better ask for support in
the Exchange newsgroups. I do not know how to do that.
