Customize Theme: Banner: Outline/Halo effect for fonts?

N

neilsanner

Hi,

I've created my own custom theme. For the banner I've used a colorful
picture. The problem is the banner text can't be displayed properly,
even by changing it's color, because the underlying picture has dark
and light areas in it. The solution to this problem, would be the
possibility to have some text with an outline of another color. e.g.
Black font with white outline. Some call this halo mask.

Any ideas?

Thank you Stefan,

I have another question. Can different pages use different Shared
Borders? For example, can two different web pages use two different top
shared borders, using two different menus?

Hi neilsanner,

No you can't really do that with shared borders..you might want to look into
using what are called include pages instead.

Thanks Joe,

To use include pages, do the page that uses include needs to be named
with .shtml? Or .html will work fine?

,htm and .html work just fine with FrontPage includes. The included
pages must be complete .htm (or .html) pages, including all
<html>,<head> and <body> tags.
