customize the "save" toolbar

Is there any way to customize the "outlook style" toolbar that has the
desktop, history, favorites, etc. when you do a "save" or "save as". I would
like to add a button and maybe get rid of a couple of them.

Any help is appreciated
 
It's called the Places Bar.

This works for 2002 also.
