Customize Outlook Today

I know this question has been asked several times but the work around that
everybody is suggesting is not working. I can not customize Outlook Today
since when I click on the button nothing happens. I have attempted the fix
that has you edit the Dword in regedit with no success. Any other ideas? I
am running Outlook 2000 with all of the available updates installed. Thanks.

Brian,

Thanks, but as I wrote in my first post, the workaround that you refer to
has been tried and I was unsuccesful. I was hoping someone had another idea.

Again, thank you. I had already seen this fix and it does not look like what
I need. The only reason I need to get in to customize outlook today is so I
can set the program to start at the "outlook today" screen instead of going
directly to the inbox. This is a way to adjust the other settings, but I did
not see a way to make the program start with the outlook today screen. Any
other ideas?

Then your original question doesn't make any sense because you do not choose
the startup folder with the Customize Outlook Today option. I don't recall
exactly where it is in Outlook 2000, but for Outlook 2002/2003 it's on
Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options.
