customize outlook 2003

When I customize the styles in outlook 2003, I pressthe save changes button,
but then when I read a new message or switch to a folder, the style is gone,
and I have to customize it again. How do I get the style to stay?

On the customize outlook today button, when I choose a different style
(standard 1 column, or winter), then I press the save changes button, It
changes the look, but then when I go to my inbox, or another folder, the
style goes back to standard, but with little boxes in the middle of the page.

hmmm. That is common with Outlook 2000 but not Outlook 2003.

You can edit the registry to make changes to Outlook Today.
