Customize new contact window

Can the window use to enter contact info be modified/customized?

Specifically, the default fields under the general tab (address,
email, web, etc. take up so much space that I can't see the test in
the notes section (which I use extensively) unless I scroll the notes
section.

I would like to some how reduce the space taken by all the fields on
the top part of the window leaving more room for the notes section.

Just to be clear I am talking about the 'New Contact' window not the
various customizable views allowed to view existing contacts.

Possible?
Thanks

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Could not have been easier. I never
cease to be amazed at how much functionality has been packed into
Outlook (and I still run 2000).

All that is left is for me to do, is decide whether to manually
convert (cup/paste) my 100 or so contacts, or use one of the tools
described to do it automatically (they are getting a bit over my head,
so I am a little worried I will really hose things up with the
MessageClass, etc).

Can anyone recommend on of the several approaches described for
applying a new custom form to existing contacts? The easier the
better.

Lastly, what happens to the data in an existing form whose field has
been deleted in the new form?

Thank you very much!
