customize design templates -use more than one template

I want to create a power point that uses a number of different templates for
difference sections of the presentation. I don't know how to change some of
the templates without changing the entire presentation.

It all depends on the version of PowerPoint your using as to whether you
have to link form one presentation to another (which is no big deal) or the
different Masters can be all in one presentation.

Assuming that you have a version that supports multiple template (XP onwards)

Select the slides in the slide pane or slide sorter view (ctrl click) and
then hover your mouse over the design template in slide design pane. A drop
down should appear to the right > apply to SELECTED slides
