customise outlook today?

I use Outlook 2000 IMO, with XP SP-2.

The button 'Customise Outlook Today' does not appear to be working. Does
anyone know why, and how I can fix it?

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve

please try this

1. START | RUN | REGEDIT

2. locate the following key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Application
Compatibility

3. NEW | DWORD | Name of the DWord is OUTLOOK.EXE
4. Doubleklick on this new DWORD and give him the value 1

Close the registry.

Open Outlook
VIEW | OUTLOOK TODAY | MODIFY | please use userdefine here

Replay Point 1 - 4, BUT the please enter as value 0 not 1
Close the registry and restart outlook

Hi Andreas

Thank you very much. I did this and it made the button work.

However, after I customised Outlook Today, the 'Customise' button
disappeared. Will I need to go through this routine again in future if I
want to make more changes?

Why is it doing this anyway? I have no problems like this with Outlook on
my office laptop.

Thanks

Steve
