Customer Invoice Page

I need some direction on this issue. I want a customer to log into a page,
it then takes them to their page where they can view invoices or any other
customer information.

I have an idea with subwebs, but I would like something that looks at their
username and password and then takes them to their page vs. them picking
their own name from a long list.

Am I looking for a portal solution, or just some kind of member management
script.

You can only do this with either .asp (Active Server Page) file extensions or
by the use a shopping cart system that has this customer invoivce option
(i.e. the status of an order, etc.).
