Custom Views - Why am I unable to create a custom View?

Hello - I have a large table that I am trying to create some custom
views for. However, when I go to View, Custom Views........the Custom
Views option is grayed out.

I read that you cannot use Custom views for an "excel list", but I
have converted the list back to a normal range, so I don't think that
is the problem.

Does anyone know what other reasons may exist, as to why I am unable
to select custom views?
