How to change sort order in Word. I have to sort paragraphs with ignoring
spaces and punctuation. I can not find, how to achieve this in Word 2003. Any
suggestions welcome.

Hi Rasto,

This works fine if you do not use hidden text in your document:

Apply hidden format to any characters that you do not want to influence your
sorting (use Edit | Replace...).
Make sure hidden text is not visible in the document, and sort your
paragraphs.
Select the entire document, make hidden text visible again and clear the
Format | Font... | Hidden box.

Your solution is very good, simple and rock solid.
I have another question. Order of letters in most slavic languages (in
dictionary) are first small letters and than big letters. How to solve this
problem? (I am working in editorial for dictionaries in Slovenia). Maybe you
have another simple solution? Thanks!

FWIW, if you are working in a given language (have that language pack
installed), Word should use the correct sort order for that language.

Hi Rasto,

Thank you, I feel flattered.
Your second question is already answered by Suzanne. Installing the right
language pack should do the trick.
