I am running XP Home on a Toshiba laptop. I log on using an administrator
account. In Internet Options, on the Security tab, the Custom Level button
is greyed out. I cannot set anything but the default level. (At least, I
can click that button - who knows what it's doing!)

Is this a symptom of a virus? I've had a lot of problems with them lately,
but I think my system is clean now. If not, can someone tell me how to get
access to the custom settings?

Thanks.

Hi David,
I've having a very similar problem....I can see the "customize" button but
when I try and change the settings it defaults back and doesn't accept my
changes. Have you had any success with your problem that sounds very similar
to mine?

Thank you
Anne
