Custom Number format

What custom number format to use so that

1.5 will display as 1.5
1 will display as 1 not 1.0 or 1.

Any help will be highly appreciated

One way:

General;-General;0;@

Based on your example, simply a number format of "General" will do that.
No custom number format required.
