I have installed O2K3. Then run the Custom Maintenance Wizard, specifying
the Preferred PST Mode as "Prefer Unicode PST".
In the Outlook Customize Profile area, I specify "New Profile" and in the
Add Accounts section where additional services can be added, one can add
"Personal Folders File (97-2002)PST" and/or "Personal Folders File PST (Not
compatible with 97-2002") I have tried each and both.

Then I select the option to "Export the PRF".

When I execute the PRF file, the "Large Personal Folder" is added to the
Outlook profile but it's Format is always the 97-2002 type. If I also
specified the "Personal Folder" in the PRF file, it is added also and it's
Format is also the 97-2002 type. If I manually add another Personal File
within the outlook client, I can chose the format as either "Personal
Folder" (Which I beleive is the Unicode Format) or the "97-2002" format.

The PRF file that was created is:

[Service List]
;ServiceX=Microsoft Outlook Client
ServiceEGS=Exchange Global Section
Service1=Microsoft Exchange Server
ServiceEGS=Exchange Global Section
Service2=Unicode Personal Folders

[Service2]
OverwriteExistingService=Yes
UniqueService=No
Name=Large Personal Folders
PathToPersonalFolders=P:\%UserName%L.pst
EncryptionType=0x40000000

[Unicode Personal Folders]
ServiceName=MSUPST MS
Name=PT_UNICODE,0x3001
PathToPersonalFolders=PT_STRING8,0x6700
RememberPassword=PT_BOOLEAN,0x6701
EncryptionType=PT_LONG,0x6702
Password=PT_STRING8,0x6703

Why isn't the Unicode Format being set on the Large Personal Folder????

Change this line

EncryptionType=0x40000000

to

EncryptionType=0x50000000

it's a bug in the CMW and CIW.
