Custom hit counter again

As suggested by Thomas Rowe, for my custom hit counter I created a gif with width of 140 and numbers 0-9. On my web page it's all cut off, so only 3 blurred digits are displayed. What am I doing wrong?

Then you need to make sure that each number is 14 pixels wide to add up to
140

They both display fine in my browser.

I got it, guys! Made it in PowerPoint: one digit at a time, then grouped them. Pasted into Paint, saved as gif. All's working now!!!
