Custom Form

I have designed a custom contact form to replace the standard form
I have programmatically assigned my custom form to each item vi
a change in message class. I have posted my custom form in th
organizational forms library and also on the contact folder

I intermittently get the message, "The custom form could not be opened
Outlook will use an Outlook form instead. The form required to view thi
message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator." If I clear th
forms cache and update the form from the organizational library to th
contact folder. All is well again for awhile

Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening over and over again

If you publish the form in two places in versions before OL2003, you are
likely to experience forms cache corruption. (OL2003 also has a similar
problem, but the causes are different.) Clearing the cache usually fixes it.
As a solution, try publishing the form definition in only one place.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for Outlook forms issues --
microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms.
