Custom event log full after 69 events ???

Hi,

Does anyone know why the event log would report as being full after only 69
events being written?

Depends on the settings of the log. If you right click on the log in
question and hit properties, are the settings correct? What is the max
size of the log? How big are the log messages you are logging?
 
Many thanks for the revelation Chris ... just had a real "Doh" moment there
;-)

The events I'm writing out are quite verbose - stack traces - and so it
would make sense that it would get full. I've just changed the properties to
"Overwrite as needed" which seems to have done the trick.
