Custom Built 2009 Wooden Car
This custom wooden car rides on a 1986 Toyota truck frame and gets power from a Chrysler 318 engine. It is driven by an automatic transmission and has merely 1,800 miles on its speedometer. The whole body is made of cedar and its interior is just as over-the-top as the exterior.

Well at least the owner won't have to worry about rust.... although woodworm could be a problem ;)

Nice find, TC. That's a very interesting vehicle. Just hope the cooling system is efficient - wouldn't want it to catch fire. :p

Here's one with an interesting air con system.

The 'Woody' was popular with surfers in the fifties and sixties, that car takes it one stage further.

I like it but have to say it's damn ugly :D Reminds of the Munster-Mobile, the shape of it.

Would the sales blurb read 'Recently varnished'?

Metal chassis?

What would it look like in a collision?

Somebody had to make that car and I'm glad they did :)
