Is there a way to to get an arrow to rotate from its tail (not spin
from its center) like the old-fashion elevator floor indicators that
sit over the doors

The hard way would be to replicate the arrow very many times with each arrow
representing the next position in the arc with its tail fixed. Then have
each arrow fade in "after" the previous arrow and have the previous arrow
fade out "with" that arrow. This will simulate a moving arrow the way
cartoons are drawn. The key is to set the speed fast enough to make it look
smooth and have enough arrows to make it look seamless.

If you are able to do this please share your slide.

The easy way is to get an addin that has this specific effect.

Cheers...Tony

In this case, I would recommend doing it slide by slide (With each slide
rotating the arrow by a little), while applying "Automatically after" under
Advance section to all the slides. This would simplify the amount of work
needed.
