cursor sensitivity

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and recently the cursor has become
extremely sensitive. If I use the back button, it will go back several pages
instead of one instance, or if I try to left click on a url in favorites, it
will link to what is behind it on the Internet Explorer page. Any
suggestions? Thanks

Replace the batteries.
